Assistance League^® of Greater Placer, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization is honored to have been selected as a recipient of a Lincoln Community Foundation grant. Pictured is Ellen Fickewirth, the Grants Coordinator, who presented the certificate to members Vicki Harris and Carolyn Thomas.  Under our Operation: School Bell^® School Clothes Shopping Program, we will provide clothing to approximately 285 eligible students in the Western Placer Unified School District in 2019.  The grant will allow us to help clothe 40 Lincoln students with the goal of improving attendance and raising self-esteem which in turn will increase success in school.
