We are the grateful recipient of a grant from the Robert Kemp Community Endowment Fund. Robert Kemp, the child of Russian immigrants, was a World War II veteran. His varied career included teaching Management and Supervision at the junior college level and service as a probation officer. After retirement, he served on the Seniors Advisory Committee for Kaiser until his death in 2010. He chose to leave a gift in his estate plan to support charitable organizations. This gift is now stewarded through the Robert Kemp Community Endowment Fund at the Placer Community Foundation. Grants from this fund support a variety of needs, relevant to the changing times. Mr. Kemp’s gift is a permanent source of community support and marks a lasting legacy of giving back. We are proud to have been selected to receive this grant for the past 5 years. Our thanks to the Fund and to the Placer Community Foundation for their continued support of our mission to transform the lives of children and adults through community programs in the Greater Placer area.
