In an effort to help feed the homeless in Placer County, we recently partnered with the Subway Sandwich Shop,  in the Rocklin Commons Mall off Sierra College Blvd. Pictured are Subway owner Chad Chohan, on the right, and his son, Isai, who provided 34 foot-long sandwiches, at cost, to help feed the 100 temporary residents at The Gathering Inn shelter in Auburn. Wearing a big smile under his mask, Chad was enthusiastic about being a part of this project to help feed the homeless. There also were many smiles on the happy faces of the residents at the Gathering Inn while enjoying the delicious sandwiches delivered by Assistance League of Greater Placer volunteers!
