Janet Bradford Receives Anne Banning Award

We were delighted to present Janet Bradford with the Anne Banning Award, pictured on the right, receiving the award from last year’s recipient, Kathleen Geary. The Anne Banning Leadership Award is named after the founder of Assistance League who promoted the growth of effective volunteerism through leadership and education. Janet has been a very active member of our chapter for over ten years. She has Co-Chaired the Thrift Shop Scheduling Committee, worked on the Hospitality Committee, been a Kids on the Block puppeteer, worked every Operation School Bell school clothing event, chaired the School Liaison Committee, volunteered for Feet Treat and Community Assistance, and has worked on the Reaching Out Program since its inception. She is also a dedicated worker in the front of the Thrift Shop being helpful, friendly, and professional at the register as well as training new members in the workings of the Thrift Shop. Congratulations, Janet, on this well deserved award!
