A Big Congratulations to Vicki Harris, our 2021 recipient of the Anne Banning award!

Assistance League® of Greater Placer presented the Anne Banning Leadership Award to Vicki at the annual June meeting. This honor is named after the founder of Assistance League, who promoted the growth of effective volunteerism through leadership and education. This award demonstrates the importance and value of leadership to Assistance League chapters, while also honoring the accomplishments and dedication of the recipient.

In the 16 years that Vicki has been a member of our Chapter, she has held many leadership positions. She was a Board member for 5 years, including VP Membership, VP Administration, President-Elect, and Chapter President. She has chaired the School Clothing Program for multiple years. When Covid 19 hit, she was determined that students in-need would still get clothing. She redesigned the program so that shopping events could be continued for those students. She is a member of the Community Assistance Committee, and has been a puppeteer for Kids on the Block, and also works in the Thrift Shop! Congratulations again Vicki, on the well-deserved Anne Banning Leadership Award!
