At the June meeting of Assistance League® of Greater Placer, we were happy to present the Anne Banning Leadership Award to Anne Thompson. This honor is named after the founder of Assistance League, who promoted the growth of effective volunteerism through leadership and education. This award demonstrates the importance and value of leadership to Assistance League chapters, while also honoring the accomplishments and dedication of the recipient.
Anne Thompson has been a dedicated member for 13 years and has held many leadership positions. She has been Treasurer, President-Elect, President, Assisteen® Liaison, and is currently the Finance Chair and on the National Membership Committee. Always ready to help, Anne also participated in many fundraisers and philanthropic programs over the years and continues to assist where needed. Congratulations Anne, on the very well deserved award!
