Assistance League of Greater Placer is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that is comprised of multi-talented member volunteers working together to fulfill its mission. We are an organization whose members volunteered over 36,000 hours last year. Our volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of Placer County residents through hands-on programs.
We are a chapter of National Assistance League. There are currently 120 chapters and guilds across the United States with 26,000 members. Nationally we returned $38 million to local communities touching 1.4 million children, seniors and families while volunteering 3.34 million hours of service.
Membership in Assistance League of Greater Placer is open to all individuals who have the time, creativity and passion to volunteer service to the community. Prospective members are invited to attend an Informational Coffee explaining the commitment they would be making along with information about our philanthropic programs and fundraising efforts prior to becoming a member.
Join us in making a difference in our community by sharing your enthusiasm and extending a helping hand while making new friendships that will last a lifetime.
