At our September regular meeting (via Zoom), we presented our guest speaker, Shane Fernando, Vice President of Advancement & the Arts at  (CFCC), with a ceremonial check for $10,000.

To date, we have given $65,500 to CFCC to provide scholarships to students. Fernando said that approximately 80% of their students seek financial aid. The majority of them find employment and remain in the Greater Wilmington community after graduation. Fernando came to our Thrift Shop to receive the actual check.
