Operation Scholar Support presented Cape Fear Community College with an additional $15,000 for scholarships in June. Shane Fernando, CFCC’s Vice President, Advancement and the Arts, and Logan Thompson, Director of Philanthropy, visited the Thrift Shop to receive their award.

“Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Thank you for being an integral part of the lives of our students and investing wisely in their success,” they wrote in a thank you note.
