A total of 800 cuddly ALGW teddy bears were delivered to agencies across Wilmington to comfort those in distress.

The Carousel Center in Wilmington, which focuses on children victimized by physical or sexual abuse uses their bears to calm new clients when they first arrive.

Other deliveries were made to Novant Health Women and Children’s Hospital, Novant Scotts Hill, Novant Ortho, Novant Brunswick County, Wrightsville Beach Police Department, New Hanover EMS, New Hanover County Social Services, and A Safe Place.
