Mimi Dizon came to Hawaii after marrying a local boy who was attending law school in her home state of Alabama. She’s a retired speech pathologist and also worked in real estate. She has 2 children and is a grandmother of 2. Her passion is as a choral singer. Mimi has sung with the Honolulu Symphony Chorus and currently with the Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble (Chaminade). During one of her three travels, she performed at the Sydney Opera House.
Mimi joined Assistance League of Hawaii to be a reading tutor and is looking forward to doing so in the Spring.
