Mary Malone of Escondido, Marti Ferry of Lake San Marcos and Genie Jenson of Rancho Bernardo held an invitational coffee in March 1982. Their plan was to recruit interested women in establishing an Assistance League chapter in the north county region of San Diego.

Marti was there, 40 years ago, when Assistance League Inland North County was formally established as a Chapter of Assistance League. Her dedication, passion, and leadership helped lay the foundation for a Chapter that continues to thrive and serve our community to this day.

Marti, we are incredibly thankful for the vision and commitment you and your co-founders brought to our organization. Your efforts have left a lasting impact, and your spirit continues to guide us forward.
