Assistance League of Kansas City is a Nonprofit organization that serves more than 22,000 Kansas Citians annually through its nine philanthropic programs.  One of those nine programs, “I’m in Charge”,  will be receiving  the 2023 Outstanding Safety Efforts Award from “Charlie’s House”, a local non-profit organization that focuses on  home safety for children. “I’m in Charge” provides a professional safety curriculum to over 6,000 local elementary school children each year.
