Assistance League of Laguna Beach supports the Collaborative Courts Program which is offered to teenagers and adults who have been charged with nonviolent crimes. Program participants are working towards reentering society rather than being incarcerated.
The program offers participants access to a social worker, a therapist, a judge and an attorney in a closely monitored and controlled environment. Through rehabilitation, public service, therapy and alternative social programs, each participant is guided to make a safe and complete re-entry into society. They leave behind damaging patterns of behaviors, habits and choices.
