Karen Martin (center), Vice President of Philanthropic Programs, recently appeared on Mitch Truswell’s “Inside Education” on Vegas PBS.
In the video she talks about three of the Assistance League® of Las Vegas programs. In 2018-2019 Operation School Bell® provided clothing for 8,000 students. AL’s Closet, now in 55 schools, provided emergency clothing for another 3,200 Students. Scholarships are given out through the Public Education Foundation for CCSD seniors planning to continue their education in Nevada.
