We Need Volunteers—Like You.
Assistance League of Las Vegas is a nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of children and adults through community programs. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Membership is open to any individual, regardless of race, color, creed or ethnic background. Our dedicated members contribute over 66,000 hours annually to our philanthropic programs or by working in our Thrift Shop. Assistance League of Las Vegas is part of a national organization. Background checks are required of all adult members.
The Chapter consists of three different types of membership:
The men and women of Assistance League of Las Vegas implement the philanthropic programs and services of our organization. Our members volunteer their time, skills and talents during the day to administer the business of the corporation and to improve the lives of others in our community. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except July and August.
Desert Sage Auxiliary provides the opportunity for members who have limited weekday hours, with evening and weekend options to volunteer. Meetings are held the first Tuesday evening of each month, except July.
Assisteens® Auxiliary membership is open to students in grades seven through twelve. Students learn leadership skills and the importance of responding to the needs of the community while experiencing the joys of volunteering. Meetings are held on the third Sunday of the month from September through April.
