Marie Baudek joined Assistance League in 2018 and jumped in with diligence and commitment. She has worked long hours helping in the Thrift Shop backroom, as well as working many Thursday evening shifts in the front of the shop. This past holiday season she helped lead the Jingle Belles, new members who get the shop ready for the holidays. Marie recently announced she will assume the leadership of one of our programs called Literacy Plus for the 2020/2021 school year, along with working part time and maintaining her hobby as an avid gardener. Our chapter is very fortunate to have Marie as a member and we congratulate her for being awarded the Very Valuable Volunteer for the month of January.
