VVV Linda Damman February 2021

This Very Valuable Volunteer joined us in 2019 with an engaging smile and a readily apparent desire to dig in and help others in our community.  She is described as extremely efficient and always on top of things.  She jumped right in and she is always willing to learn something new.  She has been a steady volunteer at the Thrift Shop, and she is most often heard to say, “Yes, I can do that, no problem.”

To the great fortune of Assistance League, she has chosen to share her professional skills with our Chapter. She volunteered for a Co-Chair position of one of our largest programs in a Covid year when little was clear or known. Undaunted, she took what had been the methods of yesteryear and completely reworked the manner in which committee members could access needed materials in an efficient and effective manner. She has organized all meetings via zoom and has forged strong relationship with needed partners. She has patiently dealt with problems as they arose and has sought creative solutions. Her leadership skills are awesome!

Please join me in congratulating this month’s Very Valuable Volunteer Linda Damman!
