Assistance League® Minneapolis/St. Paul is excited to welcome Roma Anderson Milton to its Advisory Council. As a member of Assistance League Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Advisory Council, Roma joins an impressive and diverse group of individuals who are in place to guide and advise our Assistance League Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter.
Roma Anderson Milton brings with her over 30 years of Human Resource experience, a Masters in Organizational Leadership as well as extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Currently, she is the Vice President and Chief People Officer for Volunteers of America® Minnesota and Wisconsin, a non-profit health and human services organization.
Roma is an accomplished Human Resources leader with a proven record of leadership and performance in various fast-paced domestic and international work environments and industries. She, also, brings expertise in developing and implementing human resources strategies which lead to cultural change related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and currently serves as a Mentor for Menttium, a mentoring and leadership development organization.
In addition to her work at Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin, she is a former Board of Directors’ member for the House of Charity and Minnesota Council for Independent Living and a former HR Committee member for the Council of Churches.
