This special lady joined Assistance League in 2021, and wasted no time getting
involved. As a new member, she rolled up her sleeves and became a Co-Chair of the
Social Committee and took the lead on the fall Arboretum event, planned a trip to the
Minneapolis Art Institute, and helped organize the Holiday Cookie Event which was a
HUGE success.

She has totally embraced many areas of Assistance League, is a cheerleader for all she
interacts with and knows how to motivate people to want to do their best.  At the Thrift
Shop, she is “head shipper/packager” for the online store. She works with speed,
organization, integrity, and a true sense of mission to make sure our customers get their
online purchases quickly and in perfect condition and has gotten very familiar with the
post office and its employees.

She makes working together fun and is always conscious of other’s feelings and “life”
issues. She is the epitome of what it means to be a team player and we are lucky to
have her on our team. Let’s congratulate our March Very Valuable Volunteer, Bonnie Schmitz!
