Some people have special talents that “WOW” other people. This month’s Very Valuable Volunteer is one of those people.

As a newer member of the Assistance League, this member jumped right in and became involved.  Some of her contributions include volunteering at the Thrift Shop and Online Shop, Jingle Belles, ASK Packs, FFK Food Shelving and Packing, and the Richfield Target Clothing Event.  In addition to all that, this member stepped into a role where we had a void. She generously shares her expertise in the areas of social media and marketing the Assistance League, especially the Thrift Shop and Online Shop.

This volunteer has successfully used Facebook, Instagram, Canva and other platforms to help market the ALMSP.  She has generated and executed ideas on what to post, how to post and where to post information about our organization. Followers on our Facebook page and Instagram have increased since this member has been working on our social media.  The marketing team is thrilled to learn what is working and moving the dial forward from this talented volunteer.

This year’s retail and online shop sales have been strong.  Thanks in part to this member being a great customer, but mostly because of her contributions on social media.   The Assistance League of Minneapolis/St. Paul says thank you for that making our organization, products and programs stand out and make other’s say “WOW!”
