California is known for Hollywood, sunshine, beaches, wineries and so much more.  Lucky for us, this month’s Very Valuable Volunteer is also from California and now calls Minnesota home.

You never see her without a smile and a “what can I do to help?” attitude.  If you haven’t volunteered with this delightful person, sign up to volunteer with her in the future.   She is fun to volunteer with and you are sure to have some good laughs.

 She has helped our organization in many behind the scenes tasks such as being a Monday morning counter at the Thrift Shop for many years and serving as secretary of the Board.  Also, she has volunteered in the Thrift Shop and helped on the Membership Committee. One of her biggest contributions is being an active volunteer with Food for Kids.  She and her husband deliver the FFK bags weekly to one of our schools.
