Fifteen fifth graders from Bethune traveled to Washington DC to perform at the 2024 Turnaround Arts Student Showcase held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. The Turnaround Arts Showcase which included elementary and middle school students from around the country.  The Bethune performance included an original song they wrote which was inspired by Prince and included instrumentals, dance and original poetry.  ALMSP provided their performance outfits – shirt, pants and shoes!  Thank you Betty Bullion who coordinated with Bethune teachers to bring this together!
