This month’s Very Valuable Volunteer has true drive and enthusiasm for making ALMSP better. She is not only an eager learner, but also a quick study, getting up to speed on all aspects of chapter operations. With her considerable experience and skills, she quickly became involved in some
of our chapter’s most strategic work. As Speakers Bureau Chair, she brought innovative plans to reach new audiences with our AL message while actively facilitating the listening sessions currently happening. Last year she served as a Reading Buddy as well.
Now in her 2nd year serving on the Strategic Planning committee, she is well prepared and has received good feedback on the topics from the Advisory Council members which Strategic Planning and the Board put to good use.
This fall she is doing extra duty by being on the Philanthropic review committee. She is also part of the Thrift Shop online leadership where she is a decider, poster and does quality control. She is a valued member of our chapter, and we thank her for being warm, energetic and fun to work with!
