Cheryl Smith, an Assistance League member since 2016, was named our Very Valuable Volunteer (VVV) in November. She is currently serving as the Marketing Committee Chair, a two-year commitment that included last year and concludes this year. Her energy and growth as a leader are noteworthy. She runs a tight meeting, and has done a wonderful job leading the committee in putting the Annual Report together the past 2 years, no small task! She was, also, the lead on the Open Your Heart campaign brochure last year.
She faithfully works on every ASK (Assault Survivor Kit) pack and routinely works at the Thrift Shop. She is professional, friendly, and very much respected by those who work with her. She’s a true Rockstar! We congratulate Cheryl for being awarded the VVV.
