This Very Valuable Volunteer joined Assistance League in 2019. We are very fortunate
she joined us shortly following her retirement as a Speech Pathologist, as she also
volunteers serving meals at Loaves and Fishes and with her church. With her typical
enthusiasm, she began volunteering at the Thrift Shop, finding that she loves the back
room. She works almost weekly at the Shop, has been a member of the Links to
Learning committee, and last year was a Clothes For Kids liaison at Riverview School in
St. Paul. This year, she worked tirelessly to plan, promote and manage the Riverview-
Donald’s uniform pilot program. Her warm, welcoming, passionate, and
extremely organized personality really shone when helping the Riverview students and
families as they shopped for uniforms.
WE congratulate our October Very Valuable Volunteer, Fran Ring!
