Nothing goes to waste at Assistance League! Damaged items are recycled.  When donations from the Thrift Shop cannot be sold within a reasonable amount of time, the team members in the Pass It On Program get to work.  The items are separated, bagged, and identified for pickup by community service agencies in Montgomery County.

The receiving agencies agree to distribute all the items to their clients.  That way, the Pass It On Program allows Assistance League of Montgomery County to increase its “reach” and further meet the needs of the community.
