Assistance League ACTION!Week volunteers showed their support for learning  at Crieve Hall Elementary and Paragon Mills Elementary by presenting each school library with a check for $750.00 to purchase new books for their school.  Assistance League ladies dressed appropriately as “Cat in the Hat” and “Thing 1 and 2” honored the birthday of Dr. Seuss by reading to the children. A further $750 check shall be given to libraries to purchase books at Buena Vista, Robert Churchwell, Tusculum, Inglewood, Warner and Park Avenue Elementary Schools will be after spring break. Several of the schools felt that it would be too hectic to come sooner due to the recent tornado.
