Elementary and middle school students in need are brought to Assistance League to “shop” for brand new clothing. They all leave with a huge bag of new clothes, wide grins and a renewed sense of confidence.

One Tuesday of each month, Assistance League of Norman members play bingo and provide a social time for clients of Full Circle Life Enrichment Center. Full Circle is a non-profit organization that provides daily adult respite care. Chapter members provide bingo prizes and refreshments for the Full Circle clients.
Book Of My Own
Every student that visits Operation School Bell receives a brand new, age-appropriate book.
Since 1988 Assistance League of Norman members have provided cuddly bears to children in the community who are in the midst of a crisis or facing a traumatic event. Bears are distributed to children through local agencies such as the Norman Police Department, Food and Shelter for Friends, and Norman Regional Hospital.
Grooming kits are provided to women and their children residing in the Norman Women’s Shelter operated by the Norman Women’s Resource Center. The shelter provides a safe home for women and children who have left an abusive spouse or partner. When the family leaves the shelter to begin a new life, Assistance League of Norman provides up to $100 in groceries and cleaning supplies for the family.
