Assistance League of Northern Virginia, in partnership with Dominion Energy, just held its last food packing of the 2018-2019 school year. We wish to thank Panda Stonewall Energy Station, represented by Debbie Shoffner, who is also a member of our chapter  and a regular volunteer, for graciously sponsoring this event in May. To all our many business and community volunteers, we extend a heartfelt thank you for  your  time, each month, in helping to support our mission to provide  supplemental food bags on weekends to children in six Title I schools. A special thank you to Dominion Energy, who with their resources, vehicles, and drivers, make it possible for us to transform the lives of children through our Weekend Food for Kids program. This school year was a tremendous success!  We were able to increase our business and community participation by 44% over last year. Once again, we can’t thank you enough for helping us transform lives and strengthen community. See you back again in the fall.
