In mid-August, 11 members of Assistance League of Northern Virginia gathered at Oakton Library for a Hugs Pillow Workshop.   In about an hour, our volunteers packed over 250 pillows with Beanie Babies, Activity Books, stickers and crayons.  The colorful heart-shaped pillows are destined for first graders in three Manassas elementary schools as a welcome-back gesture easing the transition back to in-person learning.
