Assistance League of Northern Virginia is honored to join the Franklin Farm Foundation when it holds a Market Place and Community Fair on Saturday, September 18, from 1 to 5 pm.  The Fair will feature craft booths, local artists and area small businesses.  The booths will be located in the parking lot of Still Pond Pool, at 12700 Franklin Farm Road, Herndon.  Parking will be available on Franklin Farm Road or Dower House Road.

In addition, Franklin Farm’s social committee will be collecting donations of hygiene products, such as soap, deodorant, shampoo, tooth brushes and toothpaste, tampons, etc., that will be donated to a local homeless shelter.

Assistance League will be selling White House ornaments at the Fair, for a bargain price of $22 each, so look for our table.  This event will also include a silent auction of donated items, with the proceeds benefiting our chapter.

Please join us at the Still Pond Pool parking lot, between 1 and 5 on September 18 for this fun event (rain date September 25).  You can get an early start on your holiday shopping, help local artists and businesses, and support Assistance League in a single trip.
