Assistance League of Northern Virginia is very grateful to Chelsea Christina for her help with our clothing drive.  Chelsea is an exchange student at Northern Virginia Community College studying American nonprofit organizations.  For the past few months, she has volunteered to use her background in public relations and media to help our chapter by designing flyers for our media posts.  After reading about our recent wish lists, which requested donations for our New Clothing for Kids program, she decided to use the college’s Spring Fling event in mid-April to collect items for us.  She and her fellow students collected three bags of clothes.  We applaud Chelsea’s generous spirit and initiative and wish her great success when she returns home next month.
