For over 20 years, Assistance League of Northern Virginia has supported students and their families in our community.  We aim, to provide children with the essentials they need to thrive academically and personally. This includes food, clothing, winter wear, sneakers, toiletries, books, and reading support.

Last year alone, we directly impacted nearly 4,600 students by providing an impressive amount of much-needed support: 13,760 bags of food to hungry children, 2,129 grocery gift cards to families in need, 3,025 items of clothing, and 950 hygiene kits.  Additionally, our dedicated volunteers invested 639 hours tutoring students and donated 9,202 new books to nurture a love of reading. While we are proud of those accomplishments, we know that we can only help a fraction of the students in our schools. The need is not just significant; it is urgent and growing.

This is where we need your help.  We humbly ask for your support to expand our reach and assist even more students. Together, we can create a brighter future for those who need it most.  We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal this year, and with your generosity, we believe we can meet it.
