    From the Articles of Incorporation: “The specific purposes of this corporation are: To promote effective volunteerism through education, service and leadership development, to authorize, establish and maintain subordinate organizations, to charter chapters organized  for charitable purposes, to determine and maintain minimum standards for such chapters, to coordinate the efforts of such chapter to develop a program of education that will assist such chapters in obtaining the objectives of this corporation; to acquaint the public with the purposes and activities of this corporation; and to engage in any other lawful activities permitted under Oklahoma Nonprofit Corporate Laws.”
