Come Fly with Me is the theme of the annual Embrace Orange fundraiser set for Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Balboa Bay Resort, Newport Beach’s only waterfront resort. Starting at 4:00 p.m., guests will enjoy appetizers during the silent auction cocktail hour, musical entertainment celebrating the Fantastic Fifties, a three-course dinner, dancing and a live auction where bidders vie for unique and priceless experiences and trips. The cash raffle and “Wine Wall” where everyone wins are sure to be crowd-pleasers.  The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the first Community Circle Award, to local businesswoman and philanthropist Margaret Greinke.

Proceeds from this annual fundraiser sustain all of Assistance League’s philanthropic programs including low-cost dental care, school clothing and supplies for students in need within the Orange Unified School District, and financial assistance to local families facing especially tough times. At last year’s gala over $30,000 was pledged directly to these programs during the popular Fund-a-Need portion of the live auction run by Jim Nye the Auction Guy.
