The Orange Unified School District recognized Assistance League with the OUSD Community Partner Recognition Award for its, “Outstanding contributions to the students and families of our district.” Deida Conrad and Jean Wagner accepted the award from Assistant Superintendent Cathleen Korella at the September 9 Board of Education meeting for providing, “a myriad of opportunities … that have enhanced and enriched students’ curricular and extracurricular experiences.” Many of Assistance League’s philanthropic programs focus on ensuring local children have the clothes, supplies, equipment and mentoring needed to succeed in school. https://www.orangeusd.org/parent-community-corner/community-partners
