Many thanks to volunteers from the Orange City firefighters for their grilling expertise at the Summer of Love fundraising dinner held June 12 at member Cathy Hall and her husband Chris’ Villa Park home. Fifty guests were treated to live music from Full Spectrum, a mixed grill dinner, psychedelic decor and themed beverages in souvenir glasses.  The revelers all arrived in their ’60s era clothing and danced the night away.  The event raised over $6000 for Assistance League’s philanthropic programs.
