A 12-year-old student at McPherson elementary, Lessandra Barragan, collected over 300 items donated by her classmates to support the efforts of Assistance League of Orange in its Operation School Bell program. The toiletry items will be included in backpacks along with books and other supplies given to students in need of school uniforms.  Assistance League members Deida Conrad and Jean Wagner gladly accepted the donations at the Operation School Bell center at Assistance League on April 15th.  Lessandra plans to expand her toiletries donation drive to include more grade levels at McPherson next year in order to help others in her community.
