In 2021-2022 Assistance League of Pasadena held five SNAP! events:

• Collecting school supplies and backpacks for the Friends in Deed annual school supply distribution;
• Providing food and clothing worth approximately $5000 to the Pasadena Senior Center food pantry;
• Supplying diaper and diaper supplies to the Families Forward Learning Center;
• Collecting toys for the Friends in Deed Holiday Toy Drive; and
• Collecting and sending clothing to a school for Ukrainian refugees.

Each year Assistance League finds out what is needed in our community (and sometimes around the world) and then quickly gathers donations for that event. We often work with other local nonprofits to quickly address problems in our community.
