I chose to make a legacy gift to ALRSD because I want to continue to make a difference in the lives of those that we serve for years to come.  When I retired, I looked for purposeful work in an organization whose values I support.

I found that here, at ALRSD.  I love that we support the local community, from Camp Pendleton to Carmel Valley.   I also love that we focus on school children through OSB, Prep and Scholarships.  Once I joined, I found a group of interesting women, who are committed to our philanthropic goals. These goals bind us together and give our work purpose.  And, we have lots of fun. I am so happy to have made such a wonderful group of friends.  I don’t think I would have survived the isolation of the pandemic without my ALRSD work and friends.

Please consider making a Legacy gift.  I found an easy way to do it.  Simply change the beneficiary on an IRA or life insurance policy; no lawyers needed.
