Over 700 children experienced a joyful back-to-school clothes shopping experience at Target in Encinitas thanks to the Assistance League!  Superintendents, board members and community liaisons from Encinitas, Cardiff, and Solana Beach school districts as well as the Passages and Seeds of Hope programs hugged, grinned and shopped their way through the store.  Our AL volunteers were timely, professional, organized, enthusiastic and loved by the students, families and Target employees.  Our Assisteens helped shoppers and gave out swag bags and surveys while socializing with the families (a nice touch at the end of the night).  This was a true team effort, and we excitedly crossed the finish line in first place.
