With your help…

October 2024

Dear Friend of the Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito,

As you review requests for year-end donations, we hope the Assistance League will be worthy of your consideration. Since 1997, our local chapter has helped thousands of San Diego County residents by meeting urgent and ongoing needs in our community. Thanks to our all-volunteer membership and your generous donations, in the past year we have provided more than 1,000 local, disadvantaged school children with a back-to-school shopping experience through Operation School Bell and joined other chapters to deliver new school clothes to 500 children of enlisted military families at Camp Pendleton.  Assisted over 700 assault survivors with emergency needs through Surviving After Violence at Palomar Health; Provided continuing support for children who have been victimized through Thrive at Palomar Health; Met emergency needs of survivors of abuse, trafficking and victimization through GAP at One Safe Place; Helped Humble Designs furnish apartments of formerly unsheltered families. In addition, we have awarded Scholarships to 14 deserving graduates of local high schools, to continue their journey in secondary education or vocational school; and prepared underserved preschoolers for kindergarten through PREP. Flowers for You, Knifty Knitters and Assisteens have extended our reach to adults and children in our community and we are making a difference in the daily lives of many. We are a 100% volunteer non-profit group with a Platinum Seal on Guide Star.

Your donation of $2,000 will fund a scholarship and help someone to a brighter future.
$500 will give five school children the dignity of new back-to-school clothing.
$150 will provide comfort to four assault survivors.

We greatly appreciate your consideration and welcome any questions you may have about our chapter and philanthropies. (info@alrsd.org)  Thank you for your support.
