Operation School Bell®

Since 1998, we have provided new school clothing to over 18,000 preschool, elementary, and middle school children in five Coastal North County San Diego school districts.  Since 2005, we have provided new school clothing to over 8,200 children of enlisted military families at Camp Pendleton.

Surviving After Violence (SAV)

These three components provide:
ASK (Assault Survivor Kits®) – One complete change of clothing and a hygiene kit packed in a backpack and delivered to Palomar Health.
Emotional Support Items – Blankets, weighed stuffed animals, journals, fidget toys, etc.
Life Support Items – Trackfones, shoes, coats, gift cards for food, gas, and other items as needed.

In our partnership with Palomar Health’s Forensic Health Services team we have served over 5,900 individuals – ranging in age from infants to seniors – since our program inception in 1998

Preschool English Literacy Program (PREP)

Collaborating with a local Head Start Program our volunteers provide weekly tutoring to improve math and reading skills.  Since 1998 we have tutored 935 pre-school children.

Knifty Knitters

We have provided 8,200 hand-knitted items to various organizations since 1998. Newborns at Miramar Naval Marine Society and Balboa Naval Hospital have received knitted hats, blankets, scarves, and hats. Homeless teens have received scarfs and hats.

Kuddles For Kids

Since 1998, we have dressed and delivered 11,880 cuddly teddy bears and since 2017 we have donated 426 of our custom-made Caring Critters to several local organizations to be given to children facing traumatic life events. Since 2016, we also provided snacks to 1,990 children at Rady’s Chadwick Center.

 

 

Flowers for Seniors

Flowers For Seniors

Since 2016, through our Flowers for Seniors program, we have delivered over 700 flower arrangements to local Senior/Assisted Living facilities.

Scholarships

Our newest program – Scholarships – was designed to provide financial assistance towards continuing education beyond high school for selected local high school seniors.
