After more than a year of electronic meetings, the chapter’s Advisory Council met with the board in a face-to-face meeting on August 4 at JJ Phister Distilling Company. The mood was great, as everyone was happy to gather together in person.

Our Advisory Council is composed of business professionals who give back to the community by supporting the work of Assistance League of Sacramento. Our chapter has benefited greatly over the years by having ready access to professional advice on planned giving, legal matters, investment planning, banking, real estate, and fundraising. Joining the board for this dinner meeting was Candace Bonney, Stephen Hecox, Diane Kinderman, Greg Thomas, and. Chris Reeg. Council members Malcolm Hotchkiss, Jennifer Kay, Tracy Potts, and our newest Council member, Phoebe Verkouw, were unable to attend.
