Readers Are Leaders reached 52 classrooms in 4 districts, distributing over 15,500 books with their accompanying enrichment activities to teachers and students. Our goals are many: instill a love of reading by modeling our love of reading, expose students to quality literature and enhance the teacher’s library, build critical thinking through the follow-up enrichment activities, put books in the students’ hands to build their own home library, and to keep students reading all summer long. We are helping to shape our future leaders.
