20 years ago, AL of San Jose began working in partnership with Prevent Blindness of Northern California. So for 20 years, our Screening Eyes Early Program (S.E.E.) has provided vision screening, detecting early signs of amblyopia and other vision problems. Just in Jan – March of 2023, a total of 234 3-5 year old pre-schoolers were screened and 13 referrals were made. S.E.E. continues to be a wonderful way to volunteer with other ALSJ members as a team.
