If you could hear the children cheer🎉when the volunteers arrive, you would understand how much fun we have and how important it is to bring the joy of reading to so many students.🥰For their February visit, Readers Are Leaders volunteers read 🍦”Ice Cream Man” and 🫖”Clovis Keeps His Cool” in 52 second and third grade classrooms in San Jose elementary schools. 📘📗The books are kept in the classroom library so the students can read them again by themselves. 📖Every student also received a book to keep, a gift from AL of San Jose, and projects for each book were left with the teachers to enrich the reading experience.  Join us!
