Each school year, volunteers from our Readers Are Leaders (RAL) program read 12 books📔📚📙📖 to about fifty 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms in San Jose elementary schools. 🏫

A special project is included with each book to enrich the students’ reading experience. Projects have included original mazes, word puzzles, craft projects, board games, posters, bookmarks and others.✏️✂️🖍️🔖

The RAL Enrichment Committee met to read every book chosen for 2024-25 and think about what enrichment project to create for each. They will design, produce and count out enough enrichments to distribute to each classroom when readers visit.
