December is always a very special month for Readers Are Leaders. The children shower our Readers Are Leaders volunteers with extra cheers because they know we bring a special book 📕 for them to take home!

This holiday season, 1,085 books were given to 2nd and 3rd graders. There was something for everyone in “The Fascinating Ocean Book for Kids”, and the kids eagerly jumped right in! The book is filled with facts and photos about everything in the ocean from seashells and shamu whales to shipwrecks.
